This is a class designed for those that have some prior experience using watercolor. We'll focus on expanding upon your prior watercolor experience as you work on paintings of your choice each week. Artist Betsy Wellfare will demonstrate techniques related to a different subject matter and give an overview of watercolor techniques and approaches at each session and tailor the class to student preferences. 

Supply List:

Watercolor paper: minimum size 8” x 10” up to 18” x 24” that you can cut down smaller

Watercolor Brushes: size 3, 6, 12

Watercolor set: tube watercolors (sets should include Crimson Red, Magenta/Pink, Lemon Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna) 

Paint Palette: You can use a ceramic white plate or a plastic paint palette

Cloth

Two containers to hold water: suggested large cups or glass jars

Pencil

Eraser
