This class is designed for parents and children ages 5 - 9 to come together and learn how to get more involved in the kitchen as a family. Research supports that getting children involved in mealtime helps reduce picky eating by giving children ownership in the meals that are made! We will read an interactive book about eating the recommended amount of 5 fruits and vegetables per day, practice cutting up vegatables and making a "rainbow", and enjoy eating the creation, all while discussing helpful tips for families during mealtime!
