In this class we will learn art making techniques used to create mixed media artworks. Each week we will explore ways we can add art materials such as watercolor, acrylic paint, collage, ink, and colored pencil to our art making practice as we create a variety of mixed media artworks.
Supply List to bring to class:
Mixed Media Paper: minimum size 4" x 6" inches up to 18" x 24"
Copy Paper (at least 20 sheets)
Drawing Supplies of Choice: BallPoint Pen, Gel Pens, Markers, Fineliners, Colored Pencils (12 colors)
Painting Supplies of Choice: Watercolor (basic colors) Acrylic (at least red, yellow, blue, white, black)
Glue Sticks or White Glue such as Elmer's
Collage Materials: Magazines, Junk Mail, Ephemera, Colored Paper, Old Artwork
Scissors
