Adult Art Club These classes cover a wide range of art concepts and are intended to expand students’ art understanding and creative exploration. The artist will start each class by presenting how to work with different elements of art or principles of design, and she will share ways that several artists approach these art concepts in their work. Then there will be an art making session using whatever art materials students prefer to work with. Instructor will provide individual feedback and guidance as you apply each session’s focus to your artistic practice.

Artist Series Join artist Betsy Wellfare for a brief overview of an artist’s life and art, then we’ll explore art making inspired by each class’s artist. All art materials will be provided.

Sketchbook Club - (Individual class sessions) These individual art classes focus on sketchbook techniques and creative approaches geared toward artmaking with a variety of art media. Students can use whatever art materials they prefer or the ones that artist Betsy Wellfare recommends. A basic supply list will be emailed out ahead of class to enrolled students. Each class we will have a prompt or creative focus to get us started, then we’ll dive into different ways you can create art in your sketchbook. All you need to bring is your mixed media or watercolor sketchbook and preferred drawing materials. Recommended sketchbook size is 9 x 12 inches. Additional materials will be provided by the instructor based on each class session focus.
