CYBL Y5 - 4th  Boys & Girls This program is set up as a league. Proper shooting, dribbling, passing and defensive techniques will be taught to each child during practice. They will also have the chance to play other teams in a six game season. The goal of this program is to teach each child to love the game of basketball, and want to continue playing basketball in the future. Basic skills will be taught to every child and equal playing time will be given. The division of leagues is as follows:



Boys and Girls (combined) Young 5s - Kindergarten

Boys 1st-2nd Grade

Girls 1st-2nd Grade

Boys 3rd-4th Grade

Girls 3rd-4th Grade

Please note that due to limitations of gym space, each grouping has a cap set to keep teams to around 10 players per team.  

Registration will be open July 31st through October 1st for all players who have residence in the Caledonia School District or attend CCS school of choice. On October 1st, registration will open for anyone interested in playing and spots on teams will be filled based on time of registration. 

Practice will begin the week of Jan.12 with games starting February 7 through March 21.  Practice days could be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

They will also have the chance to play other teams in a six game season. The goal for this program is to teach each child to love the game of basketball and want to continue on with basketball in the future. Practice will begin the week of Jan. 12  with games starting February 7 through March 21.
