Intermediate Sourdough - Take your sourdough skills to the next level!  In this hands-on class, you'll build on your basic sourdough knowledge and learn how to make flavorful pizza dough, chewy bagels, and soft, tangy English muffins - all naturally leavened with sourdough starter.  You'll leave confident in shaping, fermenting, and baking a variety of delicious breads for every occasion.  All supplies included.
Participants will get to sample fresh made English muffins and bagels, as well as, take home a pizza dough that is prepared in class.

Introduction to Sourdough A beginner’s sourdough class is an introductory workshop designed to teach the fundamentals of making sourdough bread from scratch. This class is hands-on, interactive, and comes with take-home starter and dough.  As well as, the chance to try some tasty bread!



The course covers:

Sourdough Starter Basics - how to create, feed, and maintain a healthy starter.

Ingredients & Tools - understanding the essential ingredients (flour, water, salt) and basic tools you’ll need.

Mixing & Kneading - learning how to mix the dough and perform stretch-and-fold techniques.

Fermentation & Proofing - guidance on bulk fermentation, shaping, and final proofing.

Scoring & Baking - techniques for scoring dough and achieving a crisp crust and airy crumb.

Troubleshooting & Tips - common mistakes and how to fix them.

Please bring a glass mason jar and a large bowl with a lid or a towel to cover it.
